Van Buren County Boating Accident
I have written a number of articles on boating accidents and tubing injuries in Michigan. While the Michigan lakes provide great summer fun, there is a significant risk of injury with water sports. I just read a terrible news story about a Van Buren County boating accident that has seriously injured two teens from Illinois.
According to the report, three boys were on tubes behind a speed boat when two of the tubes collided and then struck the third tube. The boys were thrown from the tubes and suffered serious injuries. My thoughts go out to the boys and their families and I hope for a speedy and full recovery.
Victims of boat accident and tube accidents in Michigan do have legal rights. If they are injured due to the negligence of another boater or even to the driver of the boat that they are on or being pulled by, a claim for compensation can often be made. Typically, the boat owner has insurance that provides coverage for boat accident claims.
