Kalamazoo Sledding Accident Kills 8-Year-Old Boy
Our Michigan personal injury lawyer is reporting a tragic Kalamazoo sledding accident that took place on Monday, January 31st, in the a.m. hours. According to police, a young boy was sledding in the front yard of his family’s cottage when he slid into the path of a pickup truck and was run over and killed.
I am very sorry to hear about this accident. My condolences go out to the family of the deceased boy.
Our Michigan accident attorneys advise victims of their legal rights. Sledding can be very dangerous and can cause serious injuries to the riders. In fact, more than 20,000 children and teen sledders landed in the emergency room annually between the years of 1997 and 2007. A person injured injured in a sledding accident may have rights under the Michigan law. Contact our office at (800) 606-1717 if you or a family member have been injured in a winter sports related accident to find out your legal rights.
