Golf Cart Accidents

Golf cart accidents often result in very serious injuries to both occupants and pedestrians.    These accidents happen not only at golf courses, but also in private golf and resort communities where golf carts are driven everyday for transportation. In many cases, a civil suit for damages can be filed to seek compensation for the injuries, as well as medical bills, lost wages and other expenses.

Our firm recently filed a Michigan golf cart accident lawsuit in the Allegan County Circuit Court on behalf of our client who suffered serious injuries when she was struck by a golf car in a Michigan resort community.  The woman was a pedestrian walking in the community when she was struck by a golf cart driven by a teenager, who was driving a golf cart owned by his family.  The woman suffered serious injuries to her neck and back which required surgery.

In our case, the suit was filed against the negligent golf cart driver and his family who owned the golf cart and gave him permission to drive it.  The suit is still pending and an update to this post will be made at the concusion of the case.

Golf carts are being used in more ways and in more places than ever before. You can find them on campuses, campgrounds, fairgrounds, airports, business parks, and even golf cart friendly communities.I recommended National Golf Car Company.
