Fatal Bicycle Accident in Hampton Township
A 71-year-old man is dead from a fatal bicycle accident in Hampton Township in Bay County that occurred Sunday. According to the police, the Bay County man was riding his bicycle north on a rail trail near Youngsditch Road when he was allegedly struck by a vehicle driven by a 19-year-old man, who was driving west. The bicyclist did not survive the crash. Police are still investigating this tragic accident.
I am very sorry to hear about this tragic accident and offer the family of the bicyclist my most heart-felt condolences.
