Pit Bulls Attack Woman In Westland, Michigan

Our Michigan personal injury lawyers are reporting a story in the paper today about a Westland dog bite attack that left one woman injured on Sunday night. The dog attack was a pit bull dog attack.  According to police, a woman was walking down Dorsey Street near Venoy when she was chased by two pit bulls.  The pit bulls attacked the woman and bit her arm. She suffered serious dog bite injuries to her arm and stitches were required to save her arm.  Police say they know who the dogs belong to.

Three Pit Bulls Attack Child In Jackson

Ford Recalls Older Model Windstar Vans

Our Michigan car accident lawyers are reporting that Ford is recalling 575,000 Windstar vans, model years 1998 to 2003,  in the United States and Canada.  The safety concern is that the rear axles can corrode and break.  States where there is a heavy use of road salt can cause this corrosion, Michigan being one of them.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), two crashes were caused due to this problem, along with 234 complaints of rear axle problems.  Ford told NHTSA on Thursday that owners of this vehicle will be notified beginning September 27th.

Clare County Hit And Run Amish Buggy Accident

Our Michigan personal injury lawyers are reporting a rear end hit and run accident that took place on Wednesday, August 18th in the a.m. hours on Colonville Road.  According to police, a vehicle rear-ended an Amish buggy and drove away after the accident.  The Amish buggy held a woman and her four children, in which three of her children suffer injuries. Police are still searching for the driver who rear-ended the buggy.
